Love or Lust with PAT MCGRATH LABS LUST: Mini MatteTrance™ Lipstick Trio

I am a sucker for a pretty pout and so when I saw this mini trio of the highly hyped PAT MCGRATH MatteTrance™ Lipsticks I knew I had to get my hands on them. So after stalking the Sephora website for days ( it always seemed they were out of stock). I finally made them mine.

WHAT IS IT

A mini lipstick trio of PAT MCGRATH’s cult favourite shades.

These colours really do deliver incredibly luxurious on your lips and do speak volumes without even a word. They are high impact and yet leave your lips feelings soft and comfortable. The MatteTrance™ formula is richly-pigmented and incredibly creamy.

Colour Blitz Trio: 3 x 0.042 oz/ 1.2 g Mini MatteTrance Lipstick in
Elson (blue red), Obsessed! (bright orange red), Full Panic (bright fuchsia)

I opted for the nude option which was the Skin Show trio of omi, 1995, flesh 3 as I have a deep love for every nude lipstick ever made.

FIRST IMPRESSION & APPLICATION REFLECTION

They are a little tiny in size but they work wonderfully for nights out and fitting into that always seemingly too small handbag. The packaging is divine and true to its full size sisters. The bullet is encased in a black lacquered case adorned with a surrealist golden lip.

The MatteTrance™ formula is a richly creamy and each shade is as it states powerfully pigmented. The formula does take a little bit of precision the first time as you adjust to such a different and unique formula. Each colour gives not only spot on and dynamic colour but delivers hydration with ultimate matte opacity. It glides onto lips and envelops them in rich colour and has the added bonus that blurs the look of imperfections due to polymers that maintain flexibility and adherence.

If you are looking to try out PAT MCGRATH ‘s infamous lipstick formula this is definitely the way to go. I think you’ll be truly hooked. I will likely be picking up the other colour combination because I just cannot resist these beautiful colours and stunning formula. I highly recommend picking a trio that speaks to you and getting into the MatteTrance groove.
