Getting Dark with the New VISEART Dark EDIT Eye Shadow Palette

Viseart Dark Edit 3.JPG

As fall approaches my love for rich and saturated colour deepens. So when I saw that Viseart was taking their dark matte favourites and creating another EDIT palette I knew it was for me. For more details on why another EDIT palette is exactly what you need to complete your EDIT collection - keep reading.

What Is It & What’s Nice About It ?

Twelve dark, sumptuous shades inspired by baroque decor, luxurious velvets, and Viseart’s Dark Mattes eye palette.

Once again Viseart’s shadow formulas are buttery in feel and have superior blendability. It’s signature formula features incredibly intense triple milled pigments which offers stunning, highly saturated long-lasting colour payoff.

This palette is similar to the Warm & Rosé EDIT (click here for my article on these palettes) palettes as it is perfectly portable in size (great for travel) and folds up into a unique convertible easel like design. It features 12 magnetic and removable pans (12 g / 0.42 oz) which allows you to customize all your favourites quickly and easily.

So let’s get to the specifics…

This will have you feeling dark, rich and regal as it is the ultimate travel version of the Viseart’s Dark Mattes Eye Shadow Palette. This Dark EDIT features opulent purples, rich browns, and gilded greens, the Dark EDIT Palette draws inspiration from baroque decor, luxurious velvets, and the regal hues found in the Dark Mattes, Grande Pro 2, Absinthe, and Siren palettes.

As I swatched these hues I could not believe how luxuriously rich the colours were and how beautifully they compliment one another. There is no limit to the sultry looks that can be created with this palette. In terms of favourite shades the highly pigmented mattes really got me, especially the richness of Sepia, Olive and Beaujolais & Lavender. There is not a single shade in this palette that I am dissatisfied with - each glides on with ease and precision and delivers stunning colour payoff.
