Love, Lust & What I Bought - Sephora Holiday Savings Event 2020
The Sephora Holiday Savings event is always tough because I have to find the line between what I want and what I need with so many great new things showing up in holiday collections and gift sets. This sale I focused on restocking my favourites, adding some colour I was lacking in my collection and one item in particular I have been wanting (and saving for) for a VERY LONG TIME. As always, this list is composed of lust-worthy products by my most trusted brands with a couple omissions as those on the receiving end of some of my gift purchases read these articles. :)
1.Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Collection in ’ At Night ‘
USD $40.00 CAD $52.00
I love this blush formula and I am lacking a redish burgundy toned blush for this time of year. It showed up with a brick red blush beautifully marbled with radiant light. I can’t wait to create a vibrant fireside gleam.
2. Drunk Elephant Dewy: The Polypeptide Kit
CAD $98.00 ($141.00 Value)
I’m a massive drunk elephant skincare fan and I always love their holiday sets. I love the Protini Polypeptide Cream as it helps my dry skin stay hydrated and healthy. So this alone was worth it but the additions of the A-Passioni™ Retinol Cream, B-Hydra™ Intensive Hydration Serum, Slaai™ Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser with Bamboo Booster™ and a Compact mirror was a no brainer for $10 more dollars than the cream alone.
3. Drunk Elephant F-Balm™ Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask Mini
USD $18.00 CAD $24.00
I love DE masks - so a hydrating one? ABSOLUTELY. Also much like I did with the Sukari Baby Facial I thought I’d try the mini before committing to the full size.
4. ARMANI BEAUTY Neo Nude Foundation
USD $40.00 CAD $40.00
This is a repurchase for me - I bought this in the spring and have been wearing it non stop ever since. This ultralightweight skincare-infused foundation does exactly what it says: deliver a natural, healthy-looking glow, all-day hydration, and light, buildable coverage. Right up my alley.
5. LANEIGE Dream & Wonder Gift Set
USD $29.00 CAD $37.00
It simply is something I pick up every sale and I can’t live without it in my nightly beauty routine. It keeps my lips soft and supple all year long - the fact that this set comes with two minis in two fantastic flavors is just a bonus.
6. Natasha Denona - Mini Zendo Eyeshadow Palette
USD $25.00 CAD $33.00
I’ve been collecting the Natasha Denona minis for a couple years now and love them. They are just the right size and I just fell in love with the colour story of this one.
7. Charlotte Tilbury Mini Iconic Matte Revolution Lipstick Trio
USD $29.00 CAD $40.00
I adore Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and this trio containing shades from the gorgeous matte revolution formula was too good to pass up. So I will be polishing my pout with Pillow Talk, Very Victoria and Walk of No Shame in no time (even if it’s just in my house because you know…Masks).
8. MAC Cosmetics Lip Pencil in Plum
CAD $23.00
MAC lipliners are simply my favourite and have been for years - and I just didn’t have this one in my collection yet and I have been all about plummy tones lately.
9. Dyson Complete Airwrap Styler
CAD $699.99
I will admit I have just watched one too many videos on this and just really am excited to try and get a voluminous head full of curls without all the heat. Not to mention the beauty tech in this tool pretty much has me from hello.
10. CLINIQUE Cheek Pop Blush in Black Honey
CAD $31.00 USD $26.00
I am a massive lover of the Black Honey colour by Clinque and think it looks stunning on all skin tones. These blushes have phenomenal reviews so I thought it was about time I picked one up. I just hope it lives up to that hype ( but I am pretty sure it will.)
